Vikki loves the A.P.R.I. We do too! A.P.R.I. is the #1 registry used by professional breeders.

We are proud producers of companion puppies.
Our puppies are A.P.R.I registered.
We prefer to show our dogs through the A.P.R.I. because they believe that temperament is just as important as conformation
We have made the decision to give our full support to the A.P.R.I because they respect & appreciate professional breeders.
They value your dog for the wonderful companion that he is even if he doesn't have a title.
No dog has ever been more important than the one that greets you at the door after a hard day at work.
We could not be more pleased with the service provided by the A.P.R.I. They are friendly & efficient
We have always felt that the health and temperament of a dog is more
important than physical beauty.
We believe our dogs are beautiful, but they
are also healthy & friendly.
We are very happy to have found a purebred registry that places
emphasis on both the companion dog and temperament.
We are honored to be members of America's Pet Registry, Inc.
This organization places emphasis on protecting our right to breed companion dogs and your right to own a pet.
They deserve to be supported in their efforts.
We are committed to producing the best puppies possible.
We believe we
can best accomplish this by registering our dogs with the A.P.R.I.
They care about the welfare of the A.P.R.I. breeders. They are friendly and courteous and they welcome and value our opinions & experience.
They care about you.
We look
forward to a long and cooperative relationship with the A.P.R.I.
We know that it is
best decision for our dogs, puppies and customers. We hope you
think so too.
What does this change mean? As of March 1, 2001, we began placing all of our puppies as A.P.R.I. registered.
We will be using the same bloodlines we have produced in the past.
The dogs we kept back for breeding from our A.K.C. registered dogs have only been registered with A.P.R.I.
A.P.R.I. stud service is available.
The A.P.R.I. uses all of the A.K.C stud books.
Pedigrees will still be available through the A.P.R.I.
"Free Puppy Program" America's Pet Registry, Inc. offers a free puppy program. The drawing will be held monthly. The winner of the drawing is reimbursed for the price of the puppy up to a maximum of $1200.00.
In order to qualify for the free puppy, the owner must register the dog within 60 days of purchase as per the purchase invoice. A copy of the purchase invoice must accompany the registration application.

At A.P.R.I. shows
dogs are judged against the standard ~ not against each other. They either meet the standard ~ or they don't.
Each dog is evaluated by a panel of three judges in six different categories.
The point system consists of points being awarded on a scale of one through five in each category.
Each judge can award a possible total of thirty points.
Dogs must earn a total of eighty-one points at three different shows to earn the title of Champion.
Additionally, each judge must award a total of 27 points or more or the title is not awarded.
If two of the 3 judges award 30 points and the third judge awards 23 points, even though the total score is higher than 81 ~ the dog is not given credit for that show.
Any dog receiving a perfect score of 270 points in three shows will earn the title of "A.P.R.I. Champion Par Excellence".
The overall show champion ~ "A.P.R.I. Distinguished Show Champion", will be chosen from the champions having the most points.
If two or more dogs have the same number of points, a new judging with 3-5 different judges will be held to break the tie.
A.P.R.I will also hold a Premier Show annually consisting only of Champions from the previous year.
The A.P.R.I Premier Show champion will be selected from this group of champions using the same standards as the Distinguished Show Champion. In this show, up to five places will be recognized ~ Premier Show Champion 1st through 5th place.
The A.P.R.I does not rely on the opinion of one judge to evaluate the dog.
This makes judging fair and impartial and is how it should be.
It takes the politics out of the equation.
One of the categories for judging is temperament.
This is also as it should be.
If you are looking for a wonderful companion, we'd be happy to assist you.
If you have any comments or questions, we would be happy to answer them for you or direct you to the A.P.R.I.
I'm sure they would also be happy to answer any of your questions via telephone or email.

We will be working very hard to assist with forming a club in Pennsylvania which will enable our state to hold A.P.R.I. sanctioned shows.
Both owners & breeders of A.P.R.I. registered dogs are encouraged to volunteer. The A.P.R.I recognizes all A.K.C. recognized breeds.
