Here are the answers
to the questions
we are ask most often.
If you have additional
questions ~
please feel free to email
us.
FOOD ~
Your puppy will be weaned
on Purina Puppy Chow.
We also supplement
with Dyne.
Your puppy will be eating
just
Purina Puppy Chow - dry
at the age of 7 weeks.
It is in a blue bag.
You will not need the Dyne
supplement.
We will include feeding instructions
in your puppy packet.
Yes, you can switch brands ~
but you will need to purchase
a bag of Purina Puppy Chow
to mix with your brand.
Gradually reduce the amount
of Purina
until you are only feeding
your brand.
Dyne Supplement is a high
calorie liquid supplement.
It contains 50% fat, 20%
carbohydrates, vitamins, and electrolytes.
We also suggest
you mix bottled water
with your water,
if you have city water,
until your puppy's system
can adjust to the chemicals.
Your puppy will only drink
bottled spring water
while with us.
WORMING ~
Your puppy will be wormed
with Nemex-2 and Panacur.
A fecal exam will be given
at age 4 weeks and 6 weeks.
Any additional medication
needed
will be given at that time.
SHOTS ~
Your puppy will be given
his/her first inoculation
at the age of 6 weeks.
We use Duramune Max5.
You will be responsible
to complete the series
of 3 inoculations.
You will have 10 days
to have your puppy vet
checked.
If puppy is found to be
"unfit for purchase"
you may return for a refund.
Your puppy's medical record
will be included
in your puppy packet.

at the *Important Information*
link below.
CRATE TRAINING ~
We highly recommend crate
training.
Instructions can be found
on Cody's page.
We suggest the medium size.
The dimensions are 27"
x 20" x 19".
This crate is also the ideal
size
for transporting your puppy
home by car.
We carry top quality crates.
They must be ordered two
weeks in advance.
You can see them
on our puppy preschool
page.
You might also want to read our
*Training Your Puppy* page.
VISITS ~
We schedule visits to our
kennel
for PRE APPROVED buyers
only.
Please do not *Kennel Hop*
and then *Drop By* unannounced
to visit our puppies.
By doing so,
you could be putting
our puppies at risk.
You would most likely find
us
grooming & bathing
dogs, feeding puppies,
whelping puppies, cleaning
the kennel,
assisting a customer, taking
a shower,
washing the car, putting
away groceries,
on our way to the vet,
training puppies,
cooking dinner, doing laundry,
breeding a dog, mowing
the lawn,
spending time with Grandma,
taking a much needed nap,
or doing one of the zillion
other things
that we do on a daily basis.
In other words ~
Please be considerate
and make an appointment.
We do NOT show puppies to
the public
before the age of six weeks.
Puppies must have had their
first shot
before public viewing is
permitted.
DEPOSITS ~
Upon receipt of your deposit,
I will email you a receipt
showing your balance for
your puppy.
Please keep the email for
your records.
All
puppies are $800.00
The deposit is 50%.

Puppies can be picked up here
by PA state law
at the age of 7 weeks.
Puppies to be picked up
here
must be picked up by 6:00
p.m.
on the Sunday following
the actual pick up date.
Example:
Puppies that turn 7 weeks
old on a Tuesday
must be picked up by 6:00
p.m.
the following Sunday.
An additional late fee of
$10.00 per day
will be charged after Sunday
night.
This applies to non-preschool puppies only.
Puppies that attend preschool will have
additional days of preschool prorated.
PHOTOS ~
We do our very best
to send photos bi-weekly.
Sometimes,
due to circumstances
beyond our control
we can not always
do things as often
as you would like.
Newborn puppies
seem to have their own
schedule,
and we must adapt to theirs.....,
it is never the other way
around.
We always make our puppies
our top priority.
How do I select my puppy?
You select your puppy in
the order
that we receive the deposits.
For example, you are the
third person
to place a deposit
on a black female
from a certain litter.
If we have five black females
in that litter,
you would have your choice
of three puppies.
We
use A.P.R.I. Registration
You will be given your
puppy's
A.P.R.I. registration application
when you pick up your puppy.

PUPPY
LEMON LAW
Please familiarize yourself
with
the Puppy Lemon Law in
your state.
Here in Pennsylvania it
only applies
to licensed kennels and
pet stores.

If you purchase a puppy
from an unlicensed kennel
and walk out the door
without a written health
guarantee ~
You have NO recourse ~
None! ~ Nada!
The Puppy Lemon Law in Pa.
doesn't apply to backyard
breeders.
In addition, the Pennsylvania
Puppy Lemon Law
only requires licensed
breeders to guarantee
congenital hereditary problems
for thirty days.
In our opinion, this is
no protection for you at all.
Puppy Lemon Laws vary state
by state ~
so you may want to do some
research.
If you purchase a puppy
from an unlicensed breeder
please ask for a written
guarantee.
If you don't get one ~
WALK AWAY.

We will give you a copy
of the Pa Puppy Lemon Law
in your puppy packet.
