*Mateer's Mucho Macho Salsa Grande*

Hola Amigos!
Dé la bienvenida a mi hogar humilde en la telaraña.

Hello Friends!
Welcome to my humble home on the web.

I like to call
my webpage
my own little hacienda.

Mi casa es su casa ~
My house is your house...

My name is ~
*Mateer's Mucho Macho Salsa Grande*

Soy el Enchilada ... Entero.
Pero mi nombre de todos
los días es apenas "Salsa".

I am the "WHOLE ENCHILADA"...

My every day name is just "Salsa".

Soy un retriever rojo de Labrador ~
[I am a red Labrador Retriever].

Mis padres son
Sadie Mae VanBrakie
and
Mateer's Lakota Legend.

This is my newborn puppy photo
just one hour after I was whelped.

Here I am just one week old ~

I look a little wet
because my Mother ~
Sadie Mae,
keeps me very clean.
It feels really good
but she rolls me upside down
to wash my tummy
and her tongue really tickles.

This is me at 2 weeks ~ Aye Currumba!

My eyes are trying to open
but not quite open yet ~

Here I am at 3 weeks ~

I'm still a little shaky...

This is my first grass experience ~
I'm not sure if I like it ~

I am moving as fast as I can...

Here I am at five weeks ~

I can run really fast now ~

This is me at six weeks ~

Seven weeks & growing!

Salsa is loved by the Kominiarek family
and resides in New York.

Labradores rojos se consideran
todavía Labradores amarillos.

Red Labradors are still considered yellow Labradors.

It is just the darkest shade
at the end of the color spectrum.

Here are two of our favorite recipes.
Fresh Salsa and Homemade Corn Tortillas ~
Delicious ~ Delicioso
Goce ~ Enjoy!

*Salsa*
5-6 ripe roma tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped jalapenos
1/3 cup chopped cilantro
2 cloves fresh garlic, minced (or to taste)
1/2 tsp. cumin (or to taste)
1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
Juice from one medium fresh lime
Combine all ingredients and stir well. Chill and serve.

*Corn Tortillas*
1 cup corn meal
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
2 tsp. corn oil
In mixing bowl, combine corn meal, baking powder, and salt. Boil water. Mix boiling water and oil into corn meal. When mixture cools enough to handle, divide into eight equal balls. Flatten slightly. Place flattened ball on top of an 8-inch square of waxed paper. Cover with a second square.
Roll into 6" circle.
Remove from paper.
Cook on ungreased griddle until lightly brown.
[We cheat & use our tortilla press]

Adios para ahora.
Regrese pronto.

Goodbye for now ~
